Hello, and welcome to Behind the lens. My name is Matthew Furukawa and I'm the photographer... behind the lens as it were. I was encouraged by a friend to document my journey as I'm trying to grow as a wildlife photographer. My goal is to become good enough to be considered a professional wildlife photographer, having said that, I don't have any intention of quitting my day job, (more in the about me section). But this is a chance and a place for me to share what I'm learning, as well as find others on this journey as well. I'm a couple years into this journey already, but here's some of the highlights about me.
